I'm in the same boat. Moving from pen to digital back and forth. Never truly happy with the setup.

I would like one to log what I do at work, so I can at the end of the week do a status report.

I want to write down ideas for blog posts and/or podcasts.

Currently, using a small clean web app I built on top of WP to do this (overkill for sure, but frontends be frontends).
