What's the status of Threads federating? 
Haven't read from this for a few months 
Is it still opt-in for them? Meaning, we'll probably never be able to follow those unaware of the switch?
Don't get me wrong, I love the fediverse. I dropped my X accounts and moved to my own Mastodon instance.
However, I do miss content. Especially baseball. I would love to get Threads so maybe the Instagram users I want to follow, I could read here.
I would love to drop Instagram too, but I don't want to miss that content.
