Adam NewboldAnyone else remember shopping here in the 80s? As a kid I always liked their logo, which I saw all over the place since it was on their pricing stickers. Niamh BernadetteVia dell'Archiginnasio On your left there is Palazzo dell'Archiginnasio on your right, a sliver of the Basilica to San Petronio. Construction started on the Basilica in 1390 - alla Sagrada Familia style - they were still building it in 1514 when a new architect was brought on to build the dome. Legend has it that Pope Pius IV halted the construction of the "megalomaniac dream" and encouraged the building of the Archiginnasio. The Archiginnasio is one of the most important buildings in Bologna. It was the main hub of the University it now houses the Anatomical Theatre and The Archeological Museum.
