Jure Repinc :linux: :kde:<p>Finished my first week working for <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/Cosylab" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Cosylab</span></a> where our department is working on <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/astronomy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>astronomy</span></a> and <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/space" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>space</span></a> projects for <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/ESA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ESA</span></a> (European Space Agency) and <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/ESO" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ESO</span></a> (European Southern <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/Observatory" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Observatory</span></a>). We're using my favourite tools like C++, Qt and <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a>. Can't get much closer to perfection, or as the Japanese would say, <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/ikigai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ikigai</span></a> 😀 In particular, I'll be working on the control software for 39-metre <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/ELT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ELT</span></a> - Extremely Large <a href="https://mstdn.io/tags/Telescope" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Telescope</span></a> planned to be finished in 2025, see <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-10fipc27w" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">youtube.com/watch?v=j-10fipc27</span><span class="invisible">w</span></a></p>
