Just fixed quickly an issue with videos being cropped too much in some corner-case situations (replies mostly) in Mastodon v4.4.0-alpha.4 and Mastodon Bird UI nightly versions.

Mastodon Bird UI 2.1.2rc12 (nightly) for nightly/alpha/mainline versions is now available.

Question for #MastoAdmin : I wanted to deploy a very small instance on the Fediverse, but I was concerned about something : I was wondering if it's a good idea to make it IPv6 only.

Do we have a way to find how many instances have IPv6 addresses in production ?

Something that tells me why a post/user appeared on my instance. Is it:

• An account someone follows
• An account that @'d one of my users
• An account/post that was linked to by a post visible for another reason
• An account/post that was searched for
• A post from an account someone follows
• A post that was interacted with by an account that someone follows

Knowing this helps with deciding whether something is spam. The info exists but is hard to find

I am fediblocking mastodon.holeyfox.co for have bots in there. for some reason, a Nicole spam is on this instance.
